Embodying the spirit behind the Roundabout series - a celebration of cycling, craftsmanship, and community - the Road to BESPOKED ride was the perfect way to conclude the first edition of these beautiful shared journeys back in 2024. Bringing together people who see bicycles as bridges for connection and friendship, this ride captured the essence of what makes these experiences so special, wherefore we want to re-cap and echo it in 2025.

This time, our journey took us on a scenic 220 km route from Berlin to Dresden, as we ride together towards BESPOKED, the renowned handmade bike show. Under a crisp autumn sky and in a, unusually, silent Berlin almost free of cars, we set off from our homes in the early morning darkness.
The meeting point was scheduled for 6:30 a.m. in true Officina fashion at the Bonanno workshop: warm coffee in hand, good conversations flowing, and anticipation hanging in the air. After a quick brief, we were ready to roll.

With the support from Hunt Wheels, a van full of snacks and drinks trailed closely behind us, ensuring smooth travels and full bellies. Three planned stops along the way meant no one had to go hungry, and, with a stroke of luck, the road was merciful, not a single puncture slowed us down along the way!

As we approached our destination, we were greeted by brilliant sunshine that lifted our spirits, fueling laughter and lively conversation. After our final snack stop, with no regard for the 190 km behind us, the group’s pace harmoniously quickened for the last stretch under the golden glow of the late afternoon.

Few ours later, tired but elated, we rolled into Dresden, arriving at the airport just in time for the opening of the fair. After sharing hugs and capturing a photo to freeze the happiness and our achievement, we were ready for a well-earned meal before visiting the show and soaking in the craftsmanship on display.

Was a great day to share our love for cycling and bicycles together and we are looking forward for moreof this long rides ahead. We couldn’t have end the Roundabout series in a better way. Special thanks to Alex Bethge, proud Futomaki Disc ICR owner, on behalf of Hunt Wheels for supporting the ride, the new friends from Albion Cycling who joined us from England, and all the fellow cyclists and friends who took part in this adventure.
Thank you all, and as always.. Enjoy the ride
