The secret of the Futomaki lies in the balance of its ingredients. In a road frame with oversize steel tubing, even the slightest nuances of tubing type and shape are amplified in the ride feel. Each Futomaki is tuned specifically to the rider, welding responsiveness and lightweight into a beautiful package.

Looking at the big tubes, you might think this frame is for racing only—and the Futomaki is indeed fast. Its classic silhouette and details like the hooded dropouts designed by Gianmaria Citron draw from the Italian racing machines of the early ‘90s. Oversize Columbus Spirit tubing combined with the racing geometry gives stiffness and responsiveness to the frame.

The Futomaki is also available in luxurious Columbus XCr stainless steel tubing.

The Futomaki comes with custom hooded stainless steel dropouts designed by Gianmaria Citron.

As with all of our frames, most mounting points on the Futomaki are designed in-house and made out of stainless steel to prevent rust in case of paint damage.
